Occasionally we host extra clinics on a Monday with our Podiatrist Joanna, so you may find we offer you this day when you book your appointment, but it may seem that we are closed due to the hours listed above. If we've booked you in, we are definitely open that day!
The practice is open four days a week, throughout the day to offer our patients flexibility when booking appointments. For those who work part-time or are retired any of these days may be suitable, but for those of you who would prefer an end of day appointment due to your own working hours, perhaps to bring children after their school day has finished, we offer out of hours opening on Tuesday until 7:30pm. Please advise reception when booking your appointment if this is the case.
The first person you will speak with when ringing during our working day will be either Amy, Jill or Sally, our reception team and "girl Friday's". Our reception team are not podiatrists so cannot offer advice regarding foot conditions over the telephone, but they will ask what particular foot problem you have to ensure that you have the right type of appointment booked at a time convenient to you.
We are a very busy village practice, and due to a young family of her own, Joanna is only able to work part-time. This means that sometimes we may not be here to answer your telephone enquiry when you actually call if it is outside of our stated working hours. We do however have an answering machine which is in service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for you to leave your contact details, or you could send an e-mail to info@meltonpodiatry.com .
